Step 5: How to bring it all together.
How do you bring it all together? I like to use Pinterest! It’s an easy way to save all the images in one place!
Create a board called “Mood board Inspiration” (it can be secret!) on your Pinterest account.
Use the colors you chose as your keywords. You wrote “blue and yellow.” Save any pins that catch your eye to your mood board.
Use the words you wrote down for the look and feel of your brand. “Leaves” or “Geometric shapes.” “Modern Logo.” Save the pins that you’re drawn to.
Don’t worry about pinning too many at this stage. You want to pin a variety of things during this stage. You may even use the words such as “adventure” or “grace” and see what images come up for you. Sometimes those kinds of things bring up imagery that you wouldn’t even think of.
This is an opportunity to find different things that may bring you inspiration for what you’re looking for in a logo.
Once you’re finished with pinning a variety of pins to your mood board inspiration, take a step back and look at everything you pinned. Let that sit with you for a day or so. Then we’ll move on to the next step, which is refining your mood board!
